So finally the (FMCSA) Federal Motor Carrier Saftey Administration outreached a "formal clarification" about puting window tint on your over the road trucks. It is something we have seen here at Solar Shade all to much, customers with skin problems on their left arm and face. These problems are due to the sun's harmful UV rays coming into your trcuk or car. The problem with big rigs is the DOT has always had the stance NO FILMS ON FOR HIRE TRUCKS. Now you are allowed "clear" films on trucks with a darkness on 70%. We offer these films and have for years, protecting you from 99% UV rays.
